The Hodgkin's Lymphoma (Hodgkin's Disease) Violet Ribbon Awareness Shop

We are happy to announce to the Hodgkin's Lymphoma (aka Hodgkin's Disease) community that we have created a website specifically for our Hodgkin's Lymphoma T-shirts and apparel called "The Hodgkin's Lymphoma Violet Ribbon Awareness Shop". Although we have a cafepress store, we thought a separate website that caters to the Hodgkin's community would better serve our community and bring awareness to this misunderstood cancer.

We chose the color Violet to represent Hodgkin's Lymphoma per the non-profit organization, Curehodgkin's adoption of the color Violet in 2001 and its mission to have violet ribbons serve as an official symbol of unification for Hodgkin's Lymphoma patients, survivors and their families. We are raising funds for Hodgkin's Lymphoma research through the sales of the Hodgkin's t-shirts and apparel from our awareness shop. Our Hodgkin's awareness shop's new website is www.thehodgeshop.com

Consequently, we have received many emails from Hodgkin's survivors and their families who were not aware that an awareness shop for Hodgkin's Lymphoma existed and who were happy to find us. It is important to spread the word about this shop to bring awareness to Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a cancer that does not get much attention and most importantly, to help raise funds for Lymphoma research.

Happy Re-birthday to My Sister on the 4th of July!

In honor of my sister who on July 4, 2006 received my stem cells through a rare syngeneic stem cell transplant, which saved her life from advanced Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Today, on the 4th of July, we celebrate this one year anniversary with gratitude, newfound appreciation and especially our sustained faith in God. We also celebrate 14 months in which she has been cancer free! Life is very good.

Our Inspiration for Hope & Dreams Cancer Awareness T-Shirt Shop

Hope & Dreams Cancer Awareness T-Shirt Shop is inspired by our courageous sister who is a two-time Hodgkin's Lymphoma Survivor. We opened our cancer awareness shop to bring worldwide awareness to Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a rare cancer of the lymphatic system and to emphasize the color Violet to represent Hodgkin's Lymphoma through our Hodgkin's Lymphoma T-shirt designs. A few months later, we expanded my shop to include other cancer awareness t-shirt designs that are important and personal to us. In addition to Lymphoma Research, the proceeds will be applied to benefit cancer research specific to the awareness product sold.
